Hanoi is packed with restaurants and street food stands, so much so it can be challenging to know where’s good and where might have you running for the bathroom all night. Luckily, I have an easy solution.
Whilst living in Hanoi, Graham and I (Ok, mainly Graham), ate our way around the city to find the very best food there is. And then took loads of hunger inducing photos of everything. And put them all on a handy map. It was created with foodies in mind, both those already living in Hanoi, and those passing through. There is so much amazing food in Hanoi, if you’re only around for a few days you won’t want to be wasting time on the average stuff, when a top notch stall could be right next door! To check it out, visit undiscovered.guide.
The map has all the Hanoian classics, like bun cha and cha ca, as well as some of the less known specialities, like egg coffee and bo bia.
Given that the undiscovered.guide Hanoi street food map is our (Graham’s) creation, I’d forgive you for thinking I may be a little biased towards its greatness. So don’t take my word for it. Check out The Travelling Tapir’s review.
